Marching in South Boston

Congratulations to the Kenny Elementary School  Marching Band (Dorchester) for taking part in South Boston's St. Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday, March 17th, 2024! The ensemble is led by Music Director Jerry Chu.

The Kenny Elementary School has participated in the parade for almost 20 years! You can catch the school's appearance on NBC10 Boston's replay of the parade here.

Other notable performances from the music program include the Kenny School Singers' opening performances for EdVestors' School-on-the-Move Prize Ceremony in November 2023, and the 41st Annual BPS Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration in January 2024.
