#1. Improvise - Concert FA. Improvise with Concert F and have fun playing your way though with any rhythms you want!
B. Try playing with whole notes, half notes, and quarter notes. Your goal is to stay in the groove! |
Improvise means you get to make up what ever you want to play. These exercises will give you a couple of rules to follow, but the rest is up to your imagination!
Staying in the groove means keeping with the beat and the tempo (or speed) of the music. It also means matching the style of what you hear. Is it fast and excited? Or slow and laid-back? Match your playing to the groove!
