The School's Jazz/Musical Theatre Dance Program
Join us for this special weekend and will take advantage of the 25% Arts Educator discount for any Trisha Brown Dance Company or Jodi Melnick/David Neumann weekend performance (limit 6 per educator, August 12-14).

New! MUSICAL THEATER WORKSHOP FOR PROFESSIONALS June 26 - July 2, 2011
Offering 18 professional development points (PDPs), The Boston Conservatory's Vocal Pedagogy Professional Workshop is a three-day intensive workshop designed for high school- and college-level music educators, vocal coaches and instructors. Workshops will cover both musical theater and classical voice pedagogy, developmental repertoire, comparative pedagogy and vocal health. Boston Conservatory faculty and Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) voice center doctors and staff will be instructors in the program. Kevin Wilson, program director.

P.A.S.S. Program Grants
The Performing Arts Student Series (PASS) Program provides funds to reimburse for the cost of admission for Boston students to Boston performing arts venues (museum admissions are not eligible). Who is Eligible to Apply to the PASS Program? PASS Program applicants include Boston public, private and parochial schools and out-of-school programs, including community/ neighborhood centers, PTA/PTOs and civic organizations. Learn more...

Citydance is a scholarship dance program offered to third-grade students in the Boston Public Schools. Each fall, professional staff members from Boston Ballet provide lively workshops for more than 4,000 third-grade students. Those students who show a strong interest and natural aptitude for ballet are invited to Introduction to Ballet. Read more...

Introduction to Ballet is a ten-week course that invites Boston Public School students to the Boston Ballet studios in the South End to participate in a 90-minute dance class each week. Transportation to and from Boston Ballet is provided by the Boston Public School system, and classes, dancewear, and shoes are provided for all students enrolled. Read more...
